Inflation in Turkey: August 2026
Annual CPI was 31.51% and monthly inflation was 1.84%. Housing, transport and food all recorded annual increases above the headline rate.

Internet use among people aged 16–74 reached 92.3%, while 76.0% used online public services in the previous 12 months.

The consumer confidence index rose to 90.8 from 89.8 in July, while household financial expectations also improved.

Retail sales volume remained above year-earlier levels through mid-2026, with annual growth easing from 21.2% in March to 10.4% in July.
